Protection Relays

Bender protection relays cover a wide variety of systems to be monitored up to 690VAC and incorporate easily accessible potentiometers for adjustable alarm set points.  Protection relays are available for AC and DC systems.

As early as the thirties, Walther Bender succeeded in obtaining first patents for several insulation monitoring devices (IMDs) for ungrounded systems in mining applications. The response to the technology was tremendous, and more developments followed quickly. 
Very soon, the decision was made to cover grounded systems as well. Residual current monitoring devices (RCDs) and ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCIs) were developed and added to the product line. 
BENDER devices soon began to appear in industrial applications all over the world and requests for voltage monitoring devices came in on a frequent base.

Today, BENDER devices help worldwide to avoid accidents and are protecting people and equipment by supporting electrically safe environments. Our quality management begins in research & development, continues into purchasing and ends with final testing and inspection to ensure high reliability for all Bender products.
