1. How do I download a PDF file?

A PDF file is an Adobe Acrobat file. If you install the free Acrobat plug-in for your web browser, you will be able to view a PDF file right in your browser. If you do not have the Adobe Acrobat plug-in, you can still download a PDF file and view it later when you do decide to get the plug-in. If you have Acrobat and just wish to download a PDF file and view it later, just right-click on the link, and choose "Save File as" or "Save Target as" to save it to your hard drive.

2. How do I print a PDF file?

To print a PDF file correctly:

a) If you are using your web browser with the Adobe Acrobat plug-in installed, just click on the printer icon in the Acrobat Reader toolbar. The toolbar will appear after the plug-in loads and the PDF document is displayed. Do not use the 'Print' selection from the 'File' menu when printing PDF files from your web browser. This may result in a lower quality print.

b) If you are using the Adobe Acrobat Reader to view a PDF file independently (not part of your web browser), select 'Print' from the 'File' menu.
