Under Current Relays



                

Detection of over currents and under currents in single phase AC and DC, and three phase AC systems. Bender under current relays cover a wide variety of systems to be monitored and incorporate, depending on application and type, easily accessible potentiometers for adjustable alarm set points. These are: Over  current, under current, time delay and hysteresis.

As early as the thirties, Walther Bender succeeded in obtaining first patents for several insulation monitoring devices (IMDs) for ungrounded systems in mining applications. The response to the technology was tremendous, and more developments followed quickly. 
Very soon, the decision was made to cover grounded systems as well. Residual current monitoring devices (RCDs) and ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCIs) were developed and added to the product line. 
BENDER devices soon began to appear in industrial applications all over the world and requests for voltage monitoring devices came in on a frequent base. A third product line was developed and added to the Bender family of protection devices: The protection relays. 

Today, BENDER devices help worldwide to avoid accidents and are protecting people and equipment by supporting electrically safe environments.
